I like to take Facebook-Free days and just pretend like it doesn’t exist. Somehow, I feel more organized, less cluttered, less “behind” on life. And the whole wide world.
Because of course, if there was no Facebook, there wouldn’t be any messages to check for, notifications to read, or friend requests to approve/disapprove. Not to mention the reading of other people’s walls, the scanning of pictures, and the updating of one’s status using witty words.
That’s kind of a lot.
I absolutely do not have grudges against Facebook, or technology, or social media in general. I think they are all incredible inventions. But you have to stop sometimes. Breath. Relate to that person you are deep, deep down inside instead of that you that is being constantly updated and tweeted and portrayed to the world online.
Kind of like going camping instead of just sitting on the couch watching Bear Grylls.
Okay I’m done.

My husband is the only person that knows my Facebook password. That way I have to ask him in order to log in and can only do it during the times when we’re both in the same room AND there’s a computer there. It’s been good.
i don’t do facebook! sometimes i wish i did, but overall, i’m glad that i don’t have that distraction in my life. i like to discover over the phone or in person what my friends have been up to, not read it on the internet, you know?
miss you!
